  She may have overdone it with the powder on an earlier outing, but Natalie Portman more than made up for her make-up fail as she returned to her regular elegant form.
The 33-year-old looked stunning as she attended the closing and award ceremony for the 17th Shanghai International Film Festival on Sunday.
No doubt Natalie turned heads in a sleeveless number as she arrived at the gala held in the Shanghai Grand Theatre.

 The frock featured a white, green, and black patterned design at the top which flowed into a long black skirt.
Unlike her previous outing, Natalie's make-up looked natural and complementary to her features as she had her brunette locks in an elegant updo.
She accessorised the look with stud earrings and a watch around her wrist.

 The actress complimented her brown eyes with a coat of smokey eyeshadow and ample mascara.
She wore her honey-hued tresses down in a slick and straight style, while adding inches to her height with a pair of strappy black heels.
A lashing of rosy blush and pink lipstick added a splash of colour.

 According to The Los Angeles Times, Natalie will wrap up the film festival, which will commence on Sunday.
And the Harvard educated actress looked absolutely thrilled to be taking the stage on the final day of the festival.
Natalie was the picture of poise as she sat onstage with her legs gracefully crossed and microphone in-hand.
